Raimon Tarou has a dream of becoming a catching hero like Honjou Masaru, the catching expert of the Shuei Bears. Ever since when Tarou was given a baseball glove by Honjou, Tarou always wanted to be just like him. But when the Deimon baseball team had only signed Tarou up for the third team, which was below the second team, he was starting to doubt himself. The third team was said to be reserves for reserves, players that weren't even considered as baseball team members. The baseball team was looking for players with general abilities in offense and defense, Tarou was only skilled at catching, but his batting and throwing was pretty much pathetic. Tarou was asked to join the American Football team by Sena but he declined the offer. After when Tarou realized that he was unable to follow his current dream, he decided that he should join the American Football team and become a catching hero. Since American Football was better to have players who were good at just one thing, Raimon Tarou was perfect for it.
